A Jewish Exploration of Ethical Dilemmas in Business
Beginning the week of January 23rd at 6 location in the area
The new JLI course will span a wide range of intriguing subjects and questions, such as:
• Should it be legal for public employees to unionize and bargain with politicians for your tax money? • After purchasing a ticket for a ball game, can you move to an unoccupied, higher-priced seat? • If someone earns the money later in life, should they be obligated to repay their settled debts? • Should trading on inside information be considered a crime?• What is the Jewish ethical perspective on the minimum wage? • Is Judaism capitalist or socialist?
