The two main Mitzvahs, which G-d commanded us in the Torah, for Passover, are to eat one once of plain Matzah after dark on the first two nights of Passover (after dark) and to get rid of our Chametz-anything made from wheat, barley, spelt, rye and oats, and that are not made kosher for Passover. The easiest way to get rid of your Chametz is to authorize the Rabbi to sell your chametz to a non Jew, so that it does not belong to you for the duration of Passover.
